Human condition

Philosophy of the day   The human condition is the quest for certainty in an inherently uncertain (Heisenberg-esque) Universe.

Thought of the day The best learning happens by positively reflecting on past activities.

People-centric

Quotable Quotes

Inspirational quotes: "I have not failed. I have found a thousand ways that won't work." - Thomas Edison.  "Apply yourself. Get all the education you can, but then, by God, DO something! Don't just stand there, make something happen. It isn't easy, but if you keep your nose to the grindstone and work at it, it's amazing how in a free society you can become as great as you want to be." - Lee Iacocca  "Experience is less relevant than knowledge and the ability to learn and to innovate" - Vikram Sarabhai And some from yours truly: (Disclaimer: Any resemblance with someone else's thoughts is expected, completely natural; at the same time, purely coincidental)  "The best thing about KNOWLEDGE is that it can only be gained"  "Life is like a Stereogram ... Externally it looks like a maze of Problems ... but if you put your nose to it, you see only Beautiful solutions"  "One learns more from discussions than conclusion

Wheel in action

Being child-like

Thought of the day Inside each of us is a child that loves nature, is curious, likes to meet new people and enjoys some kind of sport :)

The art of getting rid of the "unwanted"

Thought of the day With time, I have realised the importance of keeping oneself light-hearted. The trick is to selectively and conciously delete the "unwanted". The definition of unwanted spans from thoughts and memories to tangible things. A mundane example is getting rid of unwanted stuff in the house, but thoughtfully. Such practices help to keep your surroundings and your mind clean.

A teacher is a life-long learner

Thought of the day After a few years of teaching at University, I have gathered an insight that learning is an ongoing process. Moreover a life-lesson I have learnt during this process is to lead life in a way that "your actions today affect tomorrow's outcomes; but dont let the thought of tomorrow's outcomes affect your today". Practically life-long learning takes the form of conversations with different people. Any constructive conversation on any topic, preferably with someone who has at the least a tangential interest in the topic, leads to learning for yourself.
